John Smith,
National Bank,

New York, NY 12345-6789.

Dear Smith,

This year at International School of Commerce has been exiting and fulfilling for me, and I hope they have been the same for you at your job at National Bank. The enclosed resume will give you a snapshot of what I have been doing last year, academically. In July 2003, I did my internship with Regional Bank, which polished my theoretical accounts.

During my internship, I found that I should start with a small/mid-sized consultant or a bank. My job target is a position with accounts content, either in banking or in the investment area. Ideally, it would be with a company that is 2-10 years old and has 20-25 clients. Geographic location is not a major consideration. I am open to any situation that is challenging that makes adequate use of my skills.

Should you become aware of any of your business associates, friends, etc., who might be interested in my abilities, I would appreciate your sending them a copy of my resume or letting me have their names so I can contact them personally.

John, I would greatly appreciate your assistance and advice and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Richard Anderson.
