Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to thank you for your job offer for the position of Network Administrator within your company.
Although I was very impressed with your company I feel unable to take the position offered at this time. You may remember that I was seeking a position that would offer me a more stable home life as during the past four years I have had a large amount of travel through work, which has kept me away from home a lot.
As your company is now branching out into contract work I feel that will put me in the same position again. Under other circumstances I would have been happy to join but I don’t feel it is the right time for me now.
I would like to thank you for the opportunity to meet with you and discuss the role and I would like to wish you personally and your company well for the future.
Thank you again.
Yours sincerely,
Richard Anderson.
